Novas Leads EDA Industry in Customer Satisfaction for Third Consecutive Year
CMP 2004 EDA Branding Study Ranks Novas First in Satisfaction and
Referral Potential and Above Industry Average in Every Other Category
SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 28, 2004—
For the third consecutive year, Novas Software, Inc., the leader
in debug systems for complex chip designs, ranked first in customer
satisfaction and referral potential in a comprehensive EDA branding
study conducted by CMP's Electronic Engineering Times (EE Times) in
April and May, 2004. The EE Times survey gauged the perceptions and
preferences of 662 chip designers in North America and Europe on
various aspects of brand equity including brand awareness, product
association, company reputation, purchase considerations and use,
customer satisfaction, repurchase loyalty and referral potential. A
total of 32 EDA tool vendors were evaluated in the study.
Novas rated highest among all vendors for customer satisfaction
and "referral potential" indicating that Novas customers would
recommend the company to a colleague. The debug leader ranked fourth
behind the three largest EDA suppliers (Cadence, Mentor Graphics and
Synopsys) in vendor perception, purchase consideration, product usage,
best integration with other vendor tools and most ethical company and
was consistently ranked above average in every other category
measured.
"Happy and content customers are one of the highest forms of
praise for a company and something we consider vital to our business
strategy," said Scott Sandler, president and CEO of Novas. "Being
named the leader in customer satisfaction and referral potential among
the largest and most well-known EDA companies for the third year in a
row is an honor and a particularly impressive feat. Our customer
satisfaction ranking of 92% was 11% higher than the next company. This
is a testament to the work ethics and skills of our employees and
quality of our products."
